Monday-Friday
- If you have a legal problem, don't wait to call. Call as soon as you think you need an attorney. Not seeking immediate help often makes a legal problem worse or representation more difficult.
- Your household must meet certain guidelines for income and assets based on a sliding scale.
- Your problem must be one that HelpLine handles. That means it must be a civil legal problem. HelpLine will not give advice on criminal matters, including traffic tickets.
- Have a telephone available. The HelpLine staff will try to take your call immediately but if all lines are busy you will be called back.
- You must live in Arkansas. If your legal problem can't be solved with a brief consultation you may be referred to a staff attorney or a volunteer attorney.
